I received this email from a friend of mine a couple of days ago, I thought it was funny, and worth sharing;

Subject: Merry Christmas (without prejudice)

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

All I wanted to say was "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" .....

So, I ran it past my solicitor on the grounds that I don't want to upset anybody in these politically correct times, (one has to cover one's arse) and this is what she came up with.

A little while ago here in Australia, the NBC television show "My name is Earl" was added to Channel 7's Thursday night lineup.

My name is Earl is VERY FUNNY and reminds me of some of the things I wish I could take back in my life...

Earl J. Hickey, a petty crook with occasional run-ins with the law, whose newly-won $100,000 lottery ticket is lost when he is hit by a car. While lying in his hospital bed after the accident, He develops a belief in the concept of karma when he hears about it during the Carson Daly show. He decides he wants to turn his life around and makes a list of all the bad things he's done. After a few good deeds, his $100,000 ticket comes back to him. He sees this as a sign and, with his new lucky money, he proceeds to cross items off that list, one-by-one, by doing good deeds to atone for them. more...
